Coloressence Range of Lipsticks

This week I am reviewing the rangs of lipsticks by Coloressence. I recently bought one in coral sand. I wanted a matte pink color for daily wear and it certainly fulfilled my expectation. Thats when I realised that the range of lipsticks are a great buy for the price.
Honestly Its not that a very local brand. There is a website of the brand which does make me impressed with their collection available. The only problem is that the price varies from store to store.

1. The mosturizing color range.

Available in about 30 shades. It has a spf 15 and good mosturizing content.It says it also has basil and coriander extracts. I wouldnt call it a matte texture but it does give you a semi-matte dry look with a satin feel and a little shine depending on the color you chose.

 Price ranges from Rs 200 to Rs 250/- including shipment.

In stores you can for almost the same price.

2.Coloressence Primia range

This one is a better lip range by coloressence with more pigmented shades and better packaging.

It contains jajoba oil,vitamin E and licorice extract They altogether reduce lines and repair the lips a they say.

It is available in about 18 shades as per website but there surely are more shades added recently in this year.

Price Rs 250 to Rs 300/- 

3. Lip magic

They are the not so popular range of translucent shiny lip colors. Honestly I wouldnt recommend these shades much. It comes in just one color. Its a dull red translucent color. Click here to buy

4.Liquid Lip color

They are basically lip gloss with a better pigmentation. They are not found very easily so I am not personally a big fan of them. Click here to buy its famous pink shade

5. Lipstick souffles

Too good to sound but not as good as expected. They are not high pigmented in almost similar colors available. Not really a fan but if you are a fan of similar colors and want one handy its great option to try on

6.Matte range

This is a newly added to the collection. Not very easily available and also not updates on its website.

They are intense matte colors that are somewhat a copy of the revlon matte lip colors.

7.Intense long wear lipstick

They are highly pigmented (Great for dark shade lovers) range which have a good stay power. Again a new launch.It has a creamy texture that kind of dries in sometime.

My Review: I would stick to the mosturizing and primia rangs of lipsticks as they are most prudent among the range. They have a great variety of shades and are best for daily wear. Even though its not a very branded product yet the look of these shades are royal and trendy.

Cons:

At times dries your lips

Variation of price as there is no authorized store

Inavailibity of shades making it hard to find the perfect one

Does not have any flavour or scent to the lipstick

As shown on the spoilers on instagram, Here is this pink lipstick that you were waiting for.
Its my recent favourite and I wear it almost everywhere, Last night for a dinner , To college, For lunch with friends etc.
The lipstick is coral sand by Coloressence lipsticks Primia range.
I got it from a local store at Rs 250/- with a little bargain discount ending up getting it around Rs220/-

This lipstick will suit people with fair to average skin tones. It goes great with colors of pinks and oranges.
For a day look, Apply a little bit of kohl or eyeliner and light baby pink blush
For a night look : Get dark grey n black dusky eyes with a dark pink blush and a hint of lip gloss over the lipstick.

For pink lover lipsticks I think its a great buy as it has that perfect pink. With 2-3 swipes you get a delicate flowery pink which is subtle and great for daily wear. For a brighter look add in more swipes and you will get a pink like the top I am wearing.

Well I am very much in love with these style of skirts... especially in black color because it is a clothing item that can give you a great party look which I call royal and at the same time trendy.

STYLE TIPS!

1. Wear a black top and this black skirt for a long black gown effect. Team it up with jewellery and big belts. You can also add in color with jewellery and neon belts.
2. Wear any crop top. They fit best as these skirts can be pulled up if you dont want to show off your tummy or lower and adjust it.
3. Wear any top and put it inside the skirt for a inshirt lean look.
4. If the longer side is too sheer you can wear a different color leggings to hide the legs or to add in color.
5. Try wearing gold or silver top for a party look. It will balance out the shine and also go well with those sparkly tops you have.

I have worn a plain black top that I have worn in a inshirt manner. I have added a delicate piece of neckpiece and a black and gold belt.

Maybelline spiced up lip balm

  

The maybelline spiced up lip balm in spicy cinnamon is my current favorite lip balm.

It kind of has a flavour like a bubble gum to be honest... sweet and spicy. Its the most different one.

The color as you see is a light brown shade with a shine. I have applied about 3-4 swipes.

This one is the berry sherbet color which has a deep red shine shade. It has a sweet berry flavour. Similar to the baby lips lip balm in the reddish color.
It gives a rich red color.
Again it has about 3-4 swipes

The Blush! (Hacks)

Yesterday I posted about chosing the right blush for your skin and face shape. Today I have with me hacks for all my readers about blush.

1. Apply a bit of blush under your chin to hide your double chin and enhance the look as it would create a homogenity.
2. Never mix 2 colors because it makes you look too colorful
3. If you are wearing red lips try for a lighter options as too much red makes your face look artifical.
4. For those who want a slimmer look try a darker shade as it highlights your jawline.

THE BLUSH HACK

If you dont have a blush or you are out of one, the best option is with a lipstick! Take your lipstick and dab a bit on your finger and smoothen it on your cheeks, You can use a sponge or brush too (Brushes can damage the lipstick) 

It works very much the same and infact at time you can try that if you want your lips and cheeks to match

Vice versa.. you can apply a bit of blush over your lips which will give you a matte texture and homogenity to the face. It creates a lip stain which will make your lips look pink even after hours..

best way is to use a similar color lipstick or light pigmented lip balm. You can also apply lip gloss for a shiny effect

Fix your broken blush by following the steps in the image below

Incase you dont have a sponge you can use tissues to mingle in the blush when you apply with your hands which also helps in dabbing of the extra.
You can buy those little lipsticks pack to keep as travel blushes in many shades. Those come in many shades and are little purse friendly ones.
