Avon matte lipstick review

Today I will be reviewing the range of matte lipsticks by Avon. Avon is one of those companies which do not sell in shops and one of my friends started selling cosmetics so I gave a try to these lipsticks and I must say I have had a good experience. I have a recent crush on the wine shades in lipsticks so I ordered the shade in matte grape.
Talking about the lipstick, the lipstick is in semi matte which they call as ultra color matte lipstick. It is quite mosturizing and doesnt dry out the lips. The colors are highly pigmented but then the shades appear darker in the selection pallete than on the lips.

The over all evalutaion is that the lipstick is a nice product and for those who like matte lipsticks should get one, just get a shade darker than what you want, mine turned out to be like I wanted though
I also tried on matte berry and loved the berry color, Its neither too pink nor too maroon, and neither too dark or too light

Maybelline Velvet matte lip cream new review

I have with me the review of Maybelline matte lipcream that was much awaited. The lipstick is a similar version of the nyx lipcream and those of the vov, miss claire lip cream range.

The lipstick is perfect with those who have dry lips, The lip cream is moist and settles without leaving any chapped lips. It has deep intense pigmented colors that give you rich color to the lips

It comes with a teardrop applicator which is very convenient to apply.

Right now it is still not very easily available yet I managed to get one from the lifestyle store. I chose matte 6 for myself which is a deep pink near to red color.

I love the consistancy of the shade and it stays for a good amount where you can eat n drink too.

STAY : Strong, about 4-5 hours

For all those who love matte lipsticks should surely get one soon. The best part is the moisturizing power. Also one doesnt feel that artifical dryness or flakiness that usually Miss claire lip creams have, maybelline does provide with good quality

The only negative I feel is that its a bit over priced and it doesnt have lighter shades or shades of nudes at the moment in India

Shades that I think are available are mat 1 in a bright pink mat 2 a orangish peach pink, mat 5 in bright orange, mat 6 a pinkish red tone, mat 8 orangish red, mat 9 a pure red , mat 11 a deep red.

Red Anarkali and many others under Rs 500/-

The anarkali that I am reviewing are quite available online, and the prices of them are ranging from Rs 350-550 including shipment and they are available in many colors.

Though they are quite simple, I thought of getting one because of the awesome price. The best part of this particular design is that it is stitched but is big so you need fitting. So I just went to a random tailor and told him to alter as per my size mainly at the bust n arms.

Since its festive time, I think this kind of anarkali is something all can wear and its great for the price. Its available in many many colors. Infact I also came across 2 color versions and full sleeve versions on snapdeal.com and flipkart.com

After checking on various sites, they are cheapest on flipkart and snapdeal and all of them are very much the same thing just sold by different sellers.

I personally would recomend it as I enjoyed wearing it with lots of jewellery

Lakme Lip Pout Lipstick Review

Everyone has seen this latest product by Lakme called the pout lipsticks. So here is the review of this product.

Starting with, A similar was launched a few years back with a different packaging but wasnt a hit and now they have come with more attractive packaging and promising "pout" lips.

Well, Honestly, they are all like the ones revlon made which I love. They had launched it about 2 years back. Now almost all companies have such lip crayon lipsticks.

So, the Lakme Lip Pout is a lip crayon in matte with highly pigmented shades. They are bright and bold something all young girls would love to have.

They are long lasting and since they are matte they do not go away easily.

Staying power : 6-7 hours

Price : Rs 650/- (You can get on ebay and nykaa for about Rs 550/-)

Positive Points : Stays for a long time, the color is opaque and pigmented giving a rich shade. The lipstick qauntity is good for the price and packaging is something innovative.

Negative Points : Since its matte and crayon lip color, The lipstick dries up after a few hours and makes the lips flakey, You can apply a lip balm in that case. 

Revlon has more shades as this one is only in matte and only in 6 shades

Does not as such bring a pout to lips

Over all, Its a nice product and the shades though limited are attractive and a great buy.
