Heel hacks!




Who doesnt want to wear heels. Its a pair of beauties that add such glamour to the look but on the other hand the pain! Yes. It does pain no doubt but thats only when you wear them the wrong way.
I have heels of all types and though my least preferred are closed ones I liked one recently from forever 21 and decided to give it a try using some heel hacks to see if it works or not.
After wearing them for about 5 hours, I came to a conclusion that using these 2 hacks can save you from the pain.
The first tip is use a scotch tape. Now this tape is not the usual transparent tape. Its a white colour translucent tape that works good with the skin. There is no harm in the normal one but this one just feels more comfortable.
PS- This tape is also safe to use on the eyelids to create a perfectly aligned eyeliner.
So use this tape and wrap your last two toe fingers together. This helps the last little toe finger to not get all the pressure. Binding them together also prevents you to get injuries on the toe fingers. It feels so much comfortable trust me!
The second hack is something I read over various posts regarding celebrities wearing heels and how they manage. The secret behind is the fact that they opt a size bigger and use insoles to keep them in place. By taking a size bigger, the foot gets space to move around especially because the foot gets broad on the front and it needs more space while walking and by having a bigger size they are able to breathe and not feel restrained. But since a bigger size means your foot having the chance to come out, a silicon insoles help to keep them in place without being seen. You can buy a pair of insoles from the link below.
An additional tip - If you are going to wear them for a real long time, try taking out the heels after every 40-50 mins and circling them clockwise and anti clockwise and moving them up and down for 2-4 minutes.
