Pride Month 2018

June was an amazing month full of experiences and creative posts related to pride month. It inspired me in so many ways that I decided to have this late post.
Pride is not just related to the LGBT community, rather an expression to embrace who you are. Its about appreciating yourself for who you are and what you like. And I am in awe of people who are able to express themselves differently and with such uniqueness.
As a fashion blogger, I want to dedicate this post to the people who have inspired me to be unique and not care about the gender role stigma when it comes to fashion.
To begin with, I would like to give a round of applause to the Drag community who so beautifully come up with such mesmerizing makeup looks that even a makeup artist might fail to create.
Talking about gender role stigma in fashion, I feel proud when I come across people who arent afraid to try out outfits or makeup looks that are out of the box and against the 'typical' gender characteristics. And I am lucky to have such an inspiration within my group of friends. And i want to take this oppurtunity to introduce these novel fashionable ideas to my readers.

Zodiac Look - Gemini

Sorry Geminis for the super late post, we are finally here with a Gemini inspired look. So what do  you think about gemini. For me they are the most interesting zodiac signs because they have such a vibrant personality. From being crazy and fun to being calm and patient, they have all the traits you can imagine.

Gemini are expressive, quick-witted, and represent a dual personality. Known for the symbol of twins, Gemini are dual minded. They are two opposites within an individual altogether. Gemini are affectionate, curious , gentle and adaptive but also inconsistent and indecisive.

What inspires me about Geminis are that they are two sides of the same coin. They have strengths and weaknesses, good and bad and what inspired me for this look is yin and yang which talks about the balance between two opposites. The yin and yang is denoted by Black and white which is the reason behind my monochrome look.

Gemini fashion style is known to be eclectic, youthful and funky. Known as the twin style, the style is a mix of simple classics with bold fashion statements. Plains with stripes/ florals, indo-western looks, a simple outfit with a bold orange or pink pop of colour, a dress with shoes- challenge a Gemini and they can carry it all!

Geminis love jewellery, anything that is a statement piece and can be added to a simple look.Geminis also love a pop of bright or neon colours- orange, yellow, hot pink- might be a no for most but a yes for gemini. Known as the social butterflies, geminis love to go to parties or outings and to compliment that they have a classy and trendy set of outfits perfect for every occasion.

Inatur Chaarcoal face mask review

My earlier posts must have given an idea on how much I love charcoal based products. I think they are the best when it comes to wiping away impurities and a wonderful option for oily or acne prone skin.
My review for today is a charcoal face mask by Inatur. Inatur is a company that makes natural products which are paraben free, sulphate free and PH balanced.

The charcoal mask is known to detoxify and purify skin especially tanned, acne prone and oily skin. It also has anti bacterial properties. The ingredients include lemon oil, sweet almond oil, basil and neem and glycerine.
The instructions for using is, to apply a thick layer on damp face for 15-20 minutes and to use it twice a week.
Personally the best part about this mask is that its not at all heavy or sticky. Its a very skin friendly that you must try.
